Overview

Teachers have their own branch of the skill tree: four powers you fire from the host screen during a live game. They're unblockable, so a student's Shield can't stop them.

Power Tier (level) Requires What it does
Jackpot 1 (level 1) — Starter. Add 50,000 points to the player you pick. 5 uses, up to 10 at rank 5.
Hex 2 (level 2) Jackpot Remove 50,000 points from the player you pick (never below zero). 5 uses, up to 10.
Turbocharge 3 (level 4) Jackpot or Hex The player you pick earns 2x points for the rest of the game (up to 3x). 3 uses, up to 5.
Pandemonium 5 (level 12) Turbocharge Ultimate. Randomly swap the scores of every player. Once per game.

Levelling up as a teacher

Every live game you host with at least 2 players earns you XP, so your level, skill points and teacher powers grow as you teach. Spend skill points on the Powers page, where the teacher branch sits under the main tree.

Using teacher powers in a game

  1. Before the game, choose up to 2 teacher powers for your loadout.
  2. During the game, the teacher power bar runs along the top of the host screen.
  3. Select a power, then the player to use it on (Pandemonium hits everyone).

FAQ

Can students learn teacher powers?

No. The teacher branch is for teacher accounts only.

Do teacher powers count in contests?

Jackpot and Turbocharge aren't available in contest games, because they add points a student didn't earn. Hex and Pandemonium can be used in contests.
